Well, the box retailed for about 1485, but he gave me 50% off cause I bough over $3000 of tools at full price off him.. so I paid about $800 inclusive of tax. It's from their mid-range line so it's not the top of the line version, but good enough for a home garage.

Just tell her you need YOUR economy stimulated!
Very nice graphics. Me too understand happy endings are hard to come by at the Snookies. I meant the economy like local economies of the people like hard working ladies. We all better go out spend some money to get this economy going not just my Dow Jones.

Well, I recently sent Apple $12000 for a new computer system, so that will help raise their shares a bit (not that they need it). Damn I wish I kept my shares that I sold in 2006.

Weasel will become famous soon enough
$12,000? Sounds like someone got a new mac pro... two quad who's?

So how many gigs or ram and how many hard drives did you get for $12k? Whenever I played with "build your pro" I ended up higher of $20k... which would put the computer higher than the X!

Yeah, between my 4 mac's there is easily 20K, but the MacPro with two monitors (30 and 23), 8 Gig RAM (I know, that's light weight!), nv8800GT, a customized RAID boot made of 2 250 gig Velociraptors (lightning fast), a second internal RAID for 1TB, and two external RAID's for 3 more TB. And a bunch of other little stuff.

Playing World of Warcraft on this thing is a lot of fun too!

So how many terabytes is "enough" ...?

Trick question, there's never enough!

I just wish I had that kinda $ to drop on a computer... maybe in the future
