This is what awaited survivors of Katrina...
This crocodile was found in New Orleans swimming down the street. 21 FT long, 4,500 lbs, around 80 years old minimum. Specialists said that he was looking to eat humans because he was too old to catch animals. This crocodile was killed by the army last Sunday at 3:00 pm, currently he is in the freezer at the Azur hotel. The contents of it's stomach will be analyzed this Friday at 2:30pm. a survivor (while in the waters) said she witnessed a crocodile eat another human.... ![]() Snoped again...looks like it is a farce...non native but a real one from another part of the world. my bad. Yeah dude, uptown rulers in New Orleans woulda filled that croc full o' lead and made etouffee out of him!
1 lb Alligator meat; cut in thin strips 1/2 lb Butter (2 sticks) 1/2 c Green onions; chopped 1/4 c Parsley; chopped 2 Garlic cloves; minced 4 Celery stalks; chopped 1 cn Tomatoes; (sorry folks, no size given) Salt, cayenne and black pepper Directions: Saute onions, garlic and celery in butter until soft. Add tomatoes and simmer for 20 minutes in covered iron pot. Add alligator meat and allow to cook over low heat until tender (approximately 1 hour). If gravy is too thick, add a little hot water. Serve over rice. JV
