MAC peoples

I bought a new hard drive for my MBP, formatted as GUID and used CCC to clone the existing drive. I attempted to boot off the external drive (for now) and it won't boot, any suggestions?
Also, I'm running vmware fusion for a boot camp XP partition, what's the best way to move it over?

press cmd+option+P to zap the pram, hold onto it until you hear three "bongs"

then hold down to option and see if the drive shows up.

The drive shows up and I can select it. When I click enter, it'll start booting but then stops and reboots.

I did not create a dmg. I downloaded SuperDuper, cloned it again and was able to boot from it successfully.
Now I just need to recreate the boot camp partition and install it, that should be interesting.

Mac Double Finger Solute doesn't work.

After disassembling and assembling MB and reinstalling OS from scratch, from System CD + Leo Retail Family Pack, the Apple version of right Click (two finger on the trackpad and click) doesn't work any more. Is that possible some connection is missing?
I don't see any thing wrong other than the fact I have two left over screws.

(PS. Was it necessary for me to use tiger system installation disk instead of using leo directly by skipping the first part for fresh installation?)

Did you check the System Preferences? That two-finger action must be enabled to use.
