Table Top Pool Table

Has anyone seen a table top pool table that can be set on a table, then removed if need be? Not a mini, but a regular 7 or 8 footer, that can fit on another table.

We have a sturdy table that we were going to put in a bonus room, to use as a table, and we would like to have a pool table top to put on or take away as needed, kind of like those table tennis conversion tops.

My folks have had that setup for over 30 years at their place. Two pieces of particle board that sit on top of the pool table to create a full-size ping pong table surface.

No. Most pool tables are made with a slate bed, and is extremely heavy. I do not think you could get the same type of playing surface with a lighter, more transportable components.

That's not what he's saying. He has a regular table that he wants to put a pool table on top of every once in a while.

That's what I was thinking, which is why they are convertable the other way. I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and get the pool table, and add a convertable ping pong top to it.

With the kids being teenagers, I prefer them to be at my house playing pool, ping-pong, and foosball, as opposed to being who knows where doing who knows what.

Check out craigslist for this stuff. We got a $5000+ pool table setup with the ping pong top for about $1200. Lady needed it out of her doublewide, not a joke.
