Isn't "solved" a bit strong, seeing as how the guy hasn't even stood trial yet? There is a presumption of innocence until proven guilty in the U.S.

You'll get no argument out of me but Police said they had the murder weapon and physical evidence as well as testimony that would convict William Balfour, 27, the estranged husband of Jennifer Hudson's elder sister, Julia.
He better be getting a good Lawyer though.
