Voice you're choice for HDTV

We finally found the furniture, and a few choices of displays.
Now we are considering the HD source.

Voice your choice regarding the best service in your opinion.
Don't be afraid to give reasons........
Including provided HD recorders

Thanks

We have Verizon FIOS in northern VA. Lots of channels in HD. I'm not the kind of person that cares about TV or fancy features (as long as it is in colour, I'm happy). However, I will say watching The Weather Channel in HD is kind of cool.

Comcast = unbelievably poor in every way.

i CANT watch sports unless it's on HD with the surround sound on!!

my neighbors must hate Sundays!!! lol

verizon has the most HD channels i think...

i had time warner...and there was only about 50 HD channels...and some of them weren't even in 1080p quality...some channels would come up 480 or 720

NO cable/sat provider broadcasts in 1080p.
