I didn't accomplish much I bought gifts for one niece and nephew. I'm clueless with the other kids. Back out today...

I'm proud of myself though, I only bought one pair of shoes for me.

You would think that shopping during a snowstorm would mean peace, quiet and an empty mall.

I couldn't move in that place. I hate malls. hate, hate, hate.

maybe Freeport, where people actually have to go out and walk in this stuff. I don't mind cold, I don't mind snow. Wind...

I have to think of a couple things to buy for our relatives, but otherwise due to new, more stringent budgeting, I'm not letting myself buy anything this holiday season. It's all about the cost cutting and minimising expenses whenever possible.

and don't forget about all the new California/Midwest transplants who have been trying out this whole "driving" thing...

There was a day, where you would still be going 70 on 295 and getting passed when there was snow falling, but NO!. I spent about 45 minutes getting to the next town on US-1, because some idiot in an Audi was going 15 in a 50. it was NOT snowing hard. AND he had an Audi with snow tires.
