I never said that they weren't playing within the rules, only that once again they are attempting to buy a championship. With the highest payroll in baseball last year, did they even make the playoffs? I guess money can't buy everything

(p.s. - yes, my Tigers also had one of the top payrolls in MLB last year and they ended up dead last in their division. So I am not a believer that simply spending money on marquis players will get you the desired end result.)
