Just thought I'd give you a heads-up that I've signed up with www.trackmasters-racing.com for an open track day at Thunderhill on Sunday, January 18. Yes, I'm taking my 645Ci out ... no i'm not planning to set any records lol, just want to have some fun and enjoy the last bit of rubber on these Goodyear Eagle F1s ![]() That said, my prior best laptimes have been a 2:21 in my Mustang and a 2:19 in my Dad's old 996 C4S. So I'm curious to see where I'll place with this car (although the track config is SLIGHTLY different this time: the prior 2 laptimes were done with the bypass; this event will NOT use the bypass). If the bypass results in slightly faster times, I'm guessing maybe a 2:19? If slightly slower, then maybe a 2:23? We'll see! So I hope to see some of you out there! Let me know! Cheers, --Marc

I'll PM you my address so you can have the TCKline SAs, camber plates, bushings, control arms, tie-rods, etc shipped directly to my house. Oh, and I need new rotors too.... the UUC slotted ones would be great. Thanks

concentrate on learning the line fist. Both those times are pretty bad... can't run before you learn how to walk... if you got a good line, the times will come.
The new thunderhill is pretty nice now that's it's been repaved.. |

well. the mustang is a 2000 V6 with (supposedly) only 190 hp ... AT THE CRANK ... IF that =)
granted i didn't go 10/10 since i don't have any roll-over protection, but i was definitely pushing pretty hard ..... as for the PORSCHE .... well .... something was very wrong as i'm SURE i've discussed here before (probably even with you!) ...... i ended up boiling the brake fluid over braking as late as possible into corners. so ..... not sure what went wrong though, but i can say this: i did NOT feel comfortable with the AWD system on that C4S. still, you're right, i've got plenty to learn ........ obviously
