just ordered 2006 550

well with much disappointment that the 06 x3 did not have the new 255hp engine, we went out today and ordered the 06 550. it is set for production week 41 and should be here right around xmas. 360hp 4.8L engine and thats still sharing something special with the 4.8is!

ordered it titanium silver on black, sports, smg, shades and aero kit. i'm still trying to find out if aero kit can be installed at VDC in oxnard, if anyone knows about that, please let me know!

only pic i could find of the e60 5 w/ aero kit but in black
someone found one in titanium silver? please post!!!!

Yeah, and it seems like the 2006 X5 3.0i also uses the "old" M54 225hp engine as well.

I guess, BMW is waiting for the 2007 to put the new Valvetronic-6 in the 2nd gen X5 and possibly facelifted 2007 X3.....

Congrats on the new 550i!!

Congrats. I really like this car. especially with the SMG. I drove the 5451 with an automatic and fell in love with it. if you look on the bmwusa.com you can go to the build your own and there is a small pic of a silver 550 with an aero kit.

Very nice! I have to say that the looks of the E60 have grown on me... And no matter how it looks, that is still one hell of a car... Post pics when you get it, and congratulations!
