Regardless of:
-Reid thinks he's coaching high school ball and views
Westbrook as a 300 lb fullback with that fine set of calls at the goal line.
-McNabb must have been calling his shrink, on the Giants sideline, to see
if his Doc had diagnosed his mental illness.

As a long, long time suffering Beag fan, I'm glad they are continuing
the Heart Break Process.

I hope the same defense shows up next week... the one that has been playing like mad men and making the plays. And I hope Reid starts making some better play calls and the offense clicks from the start.

What a nail biter yesterday... I had visions of losing by 1 point.

I wonder how McNabb would have felt if that dumb move on his
part had resulted in the Giants coming back from the abyss and,
winning...

Maybe he was calling the Giants GM and wondering if he could
be backup QB there next year...

I'm not paying too much attention to it. So many dumb antics happen in the NFL much worse than that... (dancing on the star, pulling a pen out and signing a football, using a cell phone). If it turned the tided, yeah, he would have been crucified.... if someone did it to the Eagles, we would all be calling the guy an a-hole. I say let McNabb have his fun... just please show up against the Cards.

Antics: I tend to agree though I feel the refs have gone overboard in
tossing flags after touchdowns.

2 examples: the little reciever for the Pats, (forget his name), did a
quick "angel in the snow" after a touchdown, (having fallen to the
ground after the catch), and was flagged. And, Westbrook looking &
holding his arms up to the sky, (heaven? his grandparents?), a couple
weeks ago, also flagged for "unsportsmanlike conduct".

These pro sports have to be careful in walking that thin line, imo...
or else it will all look like NASCAR & F1 pretty soon.

Add in the rip off price of a "license" to buy more rip off expensive
tickets, the constant barrage of ads during the games, and...

You can bet that defense will show up in AZ this weekend. You can also bet they won't have the same crappy soft zone coverage on Fitzgerald that Carolina displayed. Their Defensive coordinator is under some heat for that gameplan instead of putting top corner Chris Gamble on Fitzgerald to shadow him. Of course Delhomme blew the game anyway so it might not have mattered.

Back to the Eagles. They're going to win this weekend. It will be close though. They're headed to the SB..

You mean those sophisticated Dodge truck ads featuring Military, Contractors, Firemen, etc doing fiery loud macho truck things? If 12 year-olds could buy these things, they might make some sales...
