Jaguar XF

Anyone been in one of these in person? I'm going to go look at one tomorrow as a beater for the wife. I sold her Xk and got her a 530 back in Dec, and she's still pining for a Jag.

The local dealer here called me and said they would offer 10k off sticker, so they have my attention.

Reviews seem to be pretty good, if that means anything. I'm going at lunch tomorrow to see how they look in person.

A Jag XF as a "beater"? Wow, my X3 must be the junk car then.

Seriously, I believe the Jag XF just might be better than the 5er. It is the best looking car in its segment, and the interior is gorgeous. Before it came out, I didn't think there was anything in the executive sedan class that I'd ever buy, but the XF changed all that.

A Guy I'm Dating has the XF V6 and wow, the interior continues to impress me. It's warm AND sporty and all the tech goodies just blow my mind. The seats are spectacular and offer ample power adjustments. The sound system is wonderful and the fit and finish is impressive. The exterior looks great with the exception of the grill I just can't warm up to it.

I agree with Azn, the interior is far better in my opinion than the 5 Series I just love it.

just calling it that because she's always wanted a Jag. On her 40th B-day a couple years back, I got her a 2000 XJ8 with about 10k miles. Then, after about 2 years, I sold that adn got her a '01 XKR with about 30k miles. Those were her 'beaters' because they were 3rd cars.

i made her ditch the xkr for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that i didn't fit in it, and i hated to be in it. so, after a couple of months, she has never really taken to the 530.

i was going to get me another CTS-V, but you know that goes. I can go fast, and watch her pout, or take the 5er to commute in and see her happy. after 22 years of dealing with my sorry self, i'm leaning towards the latter.

Can you lease them, this way if Jag goes down the tubes you have an easy exit.

Just keep the 5 and get the new 5 next year, it should have a much nicer interior and look like the new 7.

welp, we traded the escalade for a slk350 over the weekend.

one extreme to the other - seat 9 to seat 2.
