Irrelevent, if a car is backing up and is in an accident it isn't a defence to say that you had your reverse lights on. The reversing car is presumed to be responsible if it is in motion, at least where I live. YMMV.

In that instance yes; however, that does not mean you can't turn around and bring a lawsuit against GM for any damages or injury for a faulty design. All you would need to do is prove that GM was negligent in the design which lead to an accident.

If the members here who posted already were on the Jury and a decent attorney made the case I see this as a slam dunk.

That is all I'm saying.

I suppose this is something you could complain to the NHSTA or whatever.

Another minor pet peeve: some Chrysler cars run their high beams as DRL, but the intensity isn't really reduced enough and ends up producing quite a bit of glare. The Sebring comes to mind.......maybe its just me.

This needs a recall ASAP.

GM cars have done this for YEARS. I do not see this changing any time soon.
