Tough parameters...like asking what 3 CDs would you take to the desert island?

I've seen a few movies in my 50some yrs of movie going.
(It used to a be a qtr, under 12, and another 25cts bought an armload of snacks and sodas.)

How'Bout 10, in no specific order:
-Raging Bull
-Apocalypse Now, esp the Coppola cut
-2001
-The Usual Suspects
-Alien
-Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf
-Compulsion (maybe dating myself)
-Blade Runner
-Taxi Driver
-Bridge on the River Kwai
-Singing in the Rain
-Bonnie & Clyde
-King Rat
-Gone with the Wind
-One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
-Casablanca
-Citizen Kane (obvious, but really amazing)
-ET
-Godfather, all of 'em non-stop
-Easy Rider
-It's a Wonderful Life

Oops, that's 21...impossible to keep under a couple of dozen, and then there's the barely seen, art house mkt.

Airplane is a classic... I just saw the green mile a week or so ago, and it was excellent.

Have you ever watched 'Robin Hood - Men in Tights'? Classic Mel Brookes.

Then again - there is Blazing Saddles. That's a good one too

I've seen parts of Robin Hood Men in Tights on Comedy Central. The only other Mel Brooks movie I've seen is High Anxiety.

there is a scene where the blind guy is the 'lookout' - cracks me up.

Must admit - doesn't take much for me - after being stressed out all day, I like to LOL rather than a gut-wrencher (anyone see Ladder 49?)

Anyway - enough about Mel Brooks.

I saw Ladder 49 on the plane to the TCI... It was a good movie.

Seven was awesome.. It was so good. I have the special edition DVD.

I just finished watching The Breakfast Club... I know it's a classic but I'd never seen it. I thought it was great. As a bonus, it's got a BMW in it... I THINK it's a 1985 6-series coupe.
