It's a great idea for the people of India. This is like the Model T for them, huge. $70 down and a year waiting list to get a $2k Nano.

This car is meant for people who cannot afford a car in India. I don't think average population will be buying this.
Wonder wow it will survive the mix of traffic there from Ferraris to bikes.
On one side BMW introduces $82,000 X6 in India and on the other Tata has a $2,000 Nano.
