Need some help

So I'm thinking about buying a CPO M5 in Massachusetts, however I need the car registered in FLA. Massachusetts does not offer temporary plates and I'm not trading in the X so I don't have an extra tag to transfer. Furthermore, the dealer can't apply for the tags until I pay for the car (need a bill of sale) and I'm not going to pay for the car w/o seeing/testing it first. Therefore, how do I drive the car from MA to DC without appropriate plates. I currently have a loaner car that is registered to a BMW dealership in the area, if I just displayed those would it be OK for driving it down on 1 day and then just parking it until I get my real plates?

Legal answer, you'd have to have it shipped to you. That is why most people don't buy cars out of state especially if it is from a dealer.

You could call your FL MVA/DMV and ask them what they'd suggest. If they could issue a transfer tag.

If you wish to "test drive it" then you need to fly up to Mass and do it

That pretty much sums it up right there.

E61Silver is an unknown quantity at this point
I would test drive it first and then go back with tags.
