So I know somebody has to own one right????

Seems like it would be a great alternative for someone who just needs a "tool around town" car. I could see having one.

The Tesla Roadster is really tiny since it's based on the Elise. I wonder what car this Model S is based on since it's significantly larger.

it's not even available to the public yet. They just unveiled it technically last week.

Future owners better hope it gets the range the company proclaims. The Tesla Roadster ran out of juice in less than half of the listed range when tested. Not like you can just pull over and re-fuel.
