Add me to the list of annoyed call recipients. Not even as entertaining as the automated calls I was getting in spanish. Those I at least got a chuckle out of.

I get them. And I have a friend who fell for the scam - gave his CC over the phone. By the time he figured out what happened there was 11K racked up on his card. He had to start the painful process of canceling all of his accounts and ccs and start from scratch.

OK...Now I don't feel so bad. I've been getting these calls about twice a week which say this is the final notice stating my factory warranty is about to expire. I've had about 50 final notices up to this point when I finally got pissed and called the number. I was told that I would be taken off the call list but SURPRISE. The calls doubled in frequency.

I thought it was a company working with Chrysler calling about my lease turn in 300 last year.

Nope, there is no rhyme or reason behind these scam calls. My neighbors 16 year old kid has a cellphone and gets these calls... not even old enough to drive or have a cell phone.

Damn...that's NUTZ!!! I assume they're probably making a killing on the unsuspecting elderly. In these desperate times, people and their schemes will grow more & more bold

You would think they would inevitably call a cop or investigator or someone who would be in a position to do something...

I get these calls all the time. My friends also get the calls. I get it on my cell phone only not my home phone. I wish they would just stop. They change the number they use regularly. I programmed my phone to not ring when these calls come in but recently I got a call from a DC number and another from a California number. I also get one about my credit card rates going up!

You know that is a SCAM call...The Credit Card companies don't bother calling you when they raise their rates...They just go up on your next billing cycle.

I get them on my home phone as well. Drives me INSANE! I have tried to push the button to be removed and each time it simply hangs up. I don't buy that the FTC can't do anything. There must be something they can do or their just another waste of taxpayer dollars...

Not sure what the " Federal Aviation Administration" can do about it but they
called last evening so I pushed 1 they came on and the first thing they
asked is "what kind of car do you have" I ask them who is this and they hung up.
So I guess they must not want to sell whatever it is their selling.
