Near death incident
 . I however, spotted the car and told my mom to stop. If I was messing with the radio or looking the other way, my mom would have driven forward, and I would not have been today. We caught up and what a f****** surprise, the driver was a teen. Anyway, Happy Easter everyone, and be safe.

I see that all to often at certain intersections... causes lots of bad accidents. Thank god you saw it coming and got your mom to stop as that could have been a really bad situation.
You should have written down the licence plate # and called the cops.

Wasn't looking both ways even at a green light, covered during drivers ed and tests? As a motorcycle rider, it's become a habit to look both ways at a green, even when not on my bike.
Different scenario but an off duty cop was recently killed in NYC while riding his bike on a stretch of road with no lights or stop signs. Some idiot pulled out from a stop sign and the cop t-boned him. Glad to hear you were alert.
