When you think of modern day kidney grills (past 40 years or so) I personally think BMW, I don't think Grand Am. Every modern day BMW has had them.

I said gills not grills....and it was not a spelling error.
Those things on front fender of cars which BMW calls gills....as seen in pic below.

Not every one. I bet I can show you more modern day Pontiacs without kidney grills than you can show me BMW's.
