Simply imo, and totally anecdotal, the cities with the largest collection of really good resturants that I have stumbled/eaten my way through: NYC, Tokyo, Osaka, Buenos Aires, Chicago, Paris, Mexico City... and, lots of really good joints in cities no one would think of. Having not been to Australia, far southeast Asia, Italy, et al, it is a limited view and simply a "list", fwiw. OT, over.  GL,mD
