Gross.There are many deer here in my area. I live in the northern burbs of Atlanta and I see them in my yard from time to time. I took a road trip to south Georgia last weekend and saw one on the side of the road somewhere south of Macon, which is an hour or so south of Atlanta. I am not sure how far south they are found though to tell you the truth.

does not have a good size deer population . I don't see them frequently in the more rugged, higher elevations, but if there is stuff to eat, (farms, 'burbs, gardens), Bambi is there. Rats with antlers. Also, lots of big turkeys, coyotes, feral pigs/boar, bear, et al. I've lost my taste, night vision and skills/courage for night driving. Be careful out there.
