FFB 2009 keeper league advice
I am in a keeper league and you can keep one play from the previous year for up to 3 years. Your keeper moves one draft spot up each year. Meaning you draft a player in round 6 and the next year he moves to spot 5. So here is my dilemma. I had a fantastic draft in this league, made it to the championship game and lost by a small margin. Anyway, here we go. M. Turner drafted rnd. 3 M. Forte drafted rnd. 7 C. Johnson rnd. 9 I am thinking Forte would be my biggest value. Cutler coming on scene for the Bears should help open things up for him, plus he has good receiving hands. The lack of receivers on the team can't hurt him either. What do you guys think? Also is there going to be a league here this year? If so how do you get in?

I know for a fact you won't be able to draft any of those players in the round you have listed there, woot for carry over leagues!.... IMO the best value would be Matt Forte in Round 7.
He doesn't really split time with anyone, he's got a new QB that should open up a few more running lanes, and you still get to pick in the top 3. I love C.J., but with Lendale taking Jerome Bettis/Mike Alstott's role of TD thief I'd pass on that. Turner at the 3rd pick is a great Value too, but think about the year after this... if Forte keeps up you could have him at a 6th pick next year, where Turner would cost you a 2 spot. Also - look at it this way... would your team be better with a 1 and a 2 plus tuner.... or a 1, 2 and 3 plus Forte? I really think Forte is the way to go here. |

Thanks for the feedback. You make alot of sense. I am leaning towards Forte.
In another keeper league I scored C. Johnson round 15. He will be my keeper for sure.Quote:
