I believe she would've been scrutinized much worse if she were not to get involved...getting involved makes her look better, and she may land another payday. I just hope the kids end up with whomever has their best interest at heart.

These kids have been f'ed from day one as far as parents go. All of the options seem pretty bleak. Look at how messed up all of MJ's brothers and sisters are, so obviously MJ's mom isn't a good choice and don't even start me on his dad. Debbie Rowe doesn't seem to be a great choice, but she is the biological mother and that has weight to it. Michael wasn't the best either dangling them over balconies, popping pills, making them wear masks everywhere. I feel bad for them for sure. It is a no win situation.

At the end of the day, MJ chose to artifically inseminate Debbie Rowe or whatever. He should have known that the kids may end up with her if something ever happened to him. Maybe he should have done more research on what kind of person she was before choosing her as the mother of his children.

How are they ALL messed up? I never hear anything about Rebe, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon or Randy. Its been since the 90's that LaToya made the news. Janet is pretty normal, save the coffee enemas and dating Jermaine Dupri. So, what gives?

After growing up in that abusive family atmosphere I wouldn't give my kids to any of them and I guess MJ agrees with me. Last I checked none of his siblings are in line to receive the kids.

I don't necessarily think that is true. What I think is that he was looking to those individuals who nurtured him and had maternal instincts.... i.e., Katherine and Diana. I think he left them with his mother because she is sensible and knows to keep Joe away from the kids and that Katherine would have the support of her other children.

Remember, Katherine comes from the same abusive family as the kids.
