Whistle Palm Pre can now sync with iTunes 8.2.1 with webOS 1.1 update

Looks like Palm & Apple are playing cat & mouse with the iTunes sync.

Granted there are plenty of 3rd party software to allow Palm Pre to sync with iTunes (some more official than others).

But looks like Palm is keeping their promise for native iTunes syncing...

So Palm's already proven it can write decent code for Pre/iTunes interactions. It's time for the company to take that extra step and release a separate piece of software--one that Apple has no control over -- for Pre/iTunes syncing. As is, the company's only wasting its customers' time playing foolish games with Cupertino.

You mean cat & mouse game is embarrassing for Palm & Apple. Pre is one of many webOS devices coming out from Palm.

Sorry, but I don't think it's embarrassing at all for the (monopolistic company) called Apple I think that they are going to continue to block Palm if they can.

I am so pissed off with Apple right now regarding their blocking of the Google Voice app (and others like GV Mobile). It's disgusting the way that Apple controls the apps in the iTunes Store. GV Mobile is available to jail-broken iPhones and I may have to jail-break my iPhone 3G again so that I can run that app.

An Android phone may be in my future...
