From reading the initial news stories, it seems as if Janke, the town mgr., was trying to
keep the lid on and slide through it; he ramped up the visibility/15 mins of celebrity thing
on his own, after getting tossed.

Imo, the board's action is typical of trying to sustain that pristine, "we are all above"
that kind of lack of "values" bs. A dozen whiners call in and demand stuff and it
happens...meanwhile, most gov't groups are riddled with self-serving, greedy, line their own
pockets pols, but the lit fuse gets the notice. From his resume, he appears to
have been an experienced, capable town mgr, but once the tipping point is reached,
most groups are not going to fight angry constituents regardless of rational thinking.

Meanwhile, I admit I peeked at MrsMgr's site and a couple of vid snippets; she ain't
no beauty queen/porn star, but WTFDIK?!
