man, you have to let the guy have his job back, football is what he does. he did his time, lost all of his money and almost everything. just let the guy work and provide his family. you know you do too. i hope someone signs him. i dont really know how much punishment people want to put on him. he lost hundred of millions dollars, did 23 months jail time. what else do you want? NFL ban him from the first 4 games, so he may be available for games 6.

How was he suspended? He was in jail???? Again, NFL code of conduct policy. I'm not saying what punishment his employer should levy. I'm just mentioning there is a code of conduct. If it doesn't apply to going to jail for a federal crime, that is fine, looks like the Bengals will be in good shape. Sets a precedent.

Arthur Blank erased his fortunes, not the NFL. And sponsors left him, not the NFL. Again, how exactly did the NFL punish him? By saying "hey you can't play while you're in jail"? This is all in the weeds though, the real 'education' on what society in the US values will be shown if/when Vick is hired and if/when people pay to watch.

On another note...He will play because there will be teams interested in signing him. He's a superior athelete, has a cannon for an arm, and has been a starter in the league for years. 3 Pro Bowls. However, i'm very interested to see/hear what his 40 time is with being away from the game for 2 yrs. It can't be 4.3 seconds still..can it?? If its anywhere near 4.3 or 4.4 seconds you can bet your ass that there will be more than just a few teams interested in him. Michael Vick is a nightmare to gameplan for because of his atheleticism and speed...not because of his QB skills..i know news flash right?

Very interesting indeed...He probably didn't lose all his skills in 2 years time. But the question is: Did he lose enough mojo to put himself out of NFL "prime time" status?? My guess (and this is just a guess): Between the 2 years off AND the unrelenting mental and social condemnation he has been under, he will be just a shadow of his former self.
