How far would a full tank go?
Looking for feedbacks towards a 4.4i. Feedback on other engine displacements is welcomed as well.  Thanks

I've only got about 430 miles out of my 3.0i in the condition that you've described (driving from LA to eastern Sacramento) before the fuel light came on (I'm assuming that the 10% incline is the climb over the grapevine out of LA?). But I did push it north of 85-90mph at some points during the trip. The trip computer say I only average 20.0mpg during that entire trip...meaning that I should still have about 2.5 gallons left in the tank when the light came on. You should be able to squeeze a bit more out of a gallon of gas (as much as 6-7 miles per gallon more) if you stay under 70mph as I found out over the weekend.

On my journey back from South Carolina this weekend I got 543 miles from a tank and probably could have gone another 20 or so. I have a 3.0i and was running with a fairly light load. I had quite a bit of that on the outskirts of the Smokey Mountains, so it wasn't all flat. And my average speeds were around 80

I agree w/UCrew...we've done several long trip/highway tanks at 500+, eg 525, 535. However, that has been done w/Out A/C on. UCrew's 3.0 probably gets better hway mpg than our 3.0 due to ours having the usually fun, very different, but engine screaming manual 5 spd., lol! My guess is a 4.4 without A/C on, should get very close to 500 on a flatish road trip.

Let's just say on our old 3.0, we went from the Bay Area down to Palm Springs, drove around for 70 miles beofre filling up.. we were avg probably around 85-90mph. so about 520 miles on the tank.
