New upcoming iTunes 9 to support 3rd party syncing & Facebook...
Anyhow, new iTunes looks like it will support 3rd party (i.e. non iPod) syncing and Facebook. With iTunes selling 25% of music these days, I believe Apple has seen the wisdom with 3rd party device syncing!  Possible new iTunes 9 screenshots depict Facebook social playlist integration, third-party device support : Boy Genius Report
