Bluetooth, wifi off and screen on low, listening to music and sending 30 texts a day (as opposed to about 400 before) kills it in a few hours. I'm pretty sure its normal cuz it happens to all my friends too.

If it's as you describe then there's a problem

My 3G is now running down to critical level in 6 hours after installing OS 3.1 (and that is not with a lot of usage).

Who knows why Cut and paste and MMS came late and all in 1 year.
But remember in the late 90s when everybody started selling colorful electronics
because they figured that was what made the iMac so popular?
Selling colorful electronics didn't make their product any better at all and the
industry is still copying the Apple model.................

Once you change Sims, I believe the other is useless.
