It should be perfect timing. My parents are up at their place in the mountains in PA and said it's about a week away from peak color.

Nice. It almost looks like that here except all that nice fall colour is covered with snow.

Yes I have a friend in Calgary who told me that you went straight into winter from summer. Don't worry about us here... you can have all the white stuff for yourself before December, I hope you are the type who enjoys skiing.

Actually, its right at peak this weekend

. We go for the annual Pumpkin Festival each year. The Guinness Book of Records monitors it each year...some years, its over 20,000 pumpkins which line this beautiful main drag of town. Its normally closer to Halloween, but they are holding the festival early this year. Either way, peak or not, the colors are amazing and we love going up there at this time of year. Stay tuned for pictures....
