Storm 2 release date is 10/28.

OK, I'll give you that In all the years that I carried a BlackBerry, I always immediately upgraded when a new OS version was available BUT I never ever saw anything really worth the trouble of the upgrade. Maybe the Storm is different...

Also, new Verizon BB Curve 2 will have wifi. New BB OS 5.0 has numerous improvement including finally threaded SMS!!

Until the touch screen Storm, bberry firmware upgrades were mostly bug fixes and not feature adds. With the Storm, they upgrades are both, and they're noticeable and significant. The Storm with this firmware is what it should have been when it was released 9 months ago.
