OMG, You seriously believe there's a scream of deeper,
underlying issues that people everywhere need to know?
Well OK then.... to each his own.. Enjoy ....

Give me the Al Sharpton thread. If it true that's really funny
in a sad sort of way...........

Yes, I think there is a deeper issue. I never said everyone NEEDED to know it. I just said that it would have been better for him to come clean upfront because the real story will eventually come out and because of his silence and squeaky clean reputation, it makes people want to know even more and the story tends to snowball.

I guess you don't think the topic should be discussed. That's fine, but why do you keep adding fuel to the fire then? Might be easier for you to pretend this thread doesn't exist if you aren't intrigued by it.

Hey the story is news. But I'm more intrigued
by folks making up news that doesn't exist.......
keep it up. So far it's pretty funny and entertaining, imo

Edit: Hey I just ran across this observation made by one columnist

Among the many less-than-brilliant observations made the last few days is that
Americans will forgive almost anything if people will just fess up. The implication
is that Tiger will be forgiven his transgressions, whatever they are, if he'll just TELL US THE SALACIOUS DETAILS!

For God's sake, Tiger, tell us or we'll have to get back to our own pedestrian lives......

So first you point out that it is non-news, then you post a link from an article you personally searched out on the topic??? Not to mention you have posted 9 times in this thread. Far more than any other thread in the past few days. Pretty strange for someone who doesn't care.

Everyone here is speculating because they think there is more to the story. The story doesn't add up to most people and typically where there is smoke, there is fire.

Please clarify something for me. Is it that you don't care about this story? Which is hard to believe seeing as how much time and energy you are putting into this thread or do you think there isn't anything else to the story besides him crashing his car at 2:00 in the morning and his wife bashing out a rear window to save him from a low speed crash? Which one is it?

The issue isn't the crash anymore, it's the hot chick who was on Inside Edition last night who said she's been having an affair with Tiger for the last two years. She had e-mails and voice mails from Tiger asking her to 'hurry up and take your name off your cell phone, my wife just went through mine and she may be calling you really soon'

You would think a billionaire could cover his affair better.

Why? Koby Bryant couldn't

Man, fame is a bitch!

I can't imagine wanting that kind of fame, and the subsequent media scrutiny that comes with it. Hell, I don't even do little ol' Facebook. I hate other people digging in my business. I've pretty much limited my public exposure to this X5 Forum and to Linked In. My perfect goal is to be the richest person that nobody has ever heard of.

As for unlucky Tiger, I think it's a travesty that so many 'holier-than-thou' talking heads thrive and make a killing on what is essentially NOBODY'S BUSINESS. There is a very special private section of Hell reserved for those who engage in this type of hypocritical media 'preaching' about lifestyle. Even if "IT" is true, this is between Tiger and his family. He doesn't owe anybody an explanation on anything. He is not obligated, compelled, or required to "confess" to a private matter that is non-criminal. And I would love to see Tiger sue some of the tabloids (say the Enquirer for starters) the way Tony Parker and Eva Longoria sued them for this same kind of malicious coverage and won. Basically cut into the profit margin of the leeches.

I guess the only good thing to come out of this (if one is to believe the hype regarding infidelity), is a confirmation of the old stand-by: No matter how hot she is, some guy got tired of tapping that!

Counting how many comments i've made in this thread compared to how
many I've made in the past few days are we? Thread stalking
is Kinda spooky doncha think???....

Care? About the story of Tiger hitting a fire hydrant and a tree?
As long as Tiger will recover there's nothing else to care about.

But to answer your question; the initial non-news story isn't half as
funny as the speculative comments about what the story might be.
If you don't see the irony humor or entertainment in that then you're missing the real story.
A story i might add that required no effort to find on the internet and the reason why
the comment by the columnist was included. That's the story of people who have
an obsession with speculation. You know "TELL US THE SALACIOUS DETAILS! Story.

So here's the real deal. All this time i've been jerking your chain.
Joking with you and hoping you can see the value of laughing at ourselves...
So keep it up folks and i'll do my best to find a spoon big enough to stir the pot.......

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. (AP)—Tiger Woods said he let his family down with “transgressions” he regrets “with all of my heart,” and that he will deal with his personal life behind closed doors.

His statement Wednesday follows a cover story in Us Weekly magazine that reports a Los Angeles cocktail waitress claims she had a 31-month affair with the world’s No. 1 golfer.

“I have not been true to my values and the behavior my family deserves,” Woods said on his Web site. “I am not without faults and I am far short of perfect. I am dealing with my behavior and personal failings behind closed doors with my family. Those feelings should be shared by us alone.”

Woods did not offer details of any alleged relationship.

“I have let my family down and I regret those transgressions with all of my heart,” he said.

Ah, transgressions...
Decent mea culpa; probably should have been said a few days ago.
I still want him to win every tourney he enters.
