well done to your guys.

I see the media over here have England winning the world cup and according to Kevin Keegan England will beat Germany no problem. Well I'm glad that's all sorted then, saves me from watching the rest of the games.

I know I suppose to support my neighbours England but I just can't they are our rivals simple as that just like any other supporter of any other team in any type of sport why should we be expected to support our rivals.

Bitterness that Great Brittan’s better side always does better in these things. Pity because I would support Scotland if England was not in the World Cup.

I see you eating your words once the USA is knocked out in the next round. I don't see why the USA are involved in the world cup as every US employee I have spoken to does not understand Football nor follow the USA in the World Cup.

Good luck though, let's hope Soccer which I've been told is the US's most played sport in schools will continue and at hopefully within the next 12 years the USA can play a threat in the World Cup moving forward.

I don't appreciate your anti-USA sentiment. Yes, there is only a fraction of the USA interested in the World Cup but they are keen followers. England's record against the USA is not that great anyway so I think the USA is doing just fine...

First off I see you don't know much about US and soccer here...They can get as many trophies as possible it will simply never be bigger than American football or the NBA...

As for US being involved in the world cup...they play preliminaries just like any other team

...sure it is a lot easier to qualify when you play teams such as Puerto Rico...but thats what it is...

As for round of 16...I'm left only hoping for US to go through because IMO Ghana is the better team...and hopefully Germany will go through just to shut some of those arrogant English supporters...Not to mention I place $150 on Germany to win it and $200 on Argentina

I can't help but think you said that in the interest of getting a negative reaction. It is not a if...regarding the US team being a potential threat in the next 12 years. They have just as much potential to get better as any other nation. I hope you are not English because if so you have no right to say anything considering your teams performance.
Yes american football, basketball, and baseball are and always will be more widely followed in the US. That does not mean we lack supporters. We love all sports and have a diverse enough demographic to be competitive in every sport, which I think is fairly obvious.

After France it is Italy's turn to be booted out of the world cup's group stage. Quite frankly these two teams got what they deserved with France being below everything I could even have imagined

Anyway with the World champion and the vice world champion out the World cup looks more open than ever. Germany is not at the top or at least not yet. Argentina was the one that impressed me the most so far but I really like the US team spirit.
