The ideal end spot....I'll walk a mile for one.

You make a good point - I should drive a C6 convertible - 430 or 436 hp in a 3250 lb balanced car with no roof is going to be fun.

That's me for sure - some of my friends laugh and give me a hard time but I don't care. Incredibly though, some nitwits once and a while will park right next to me (thinking they are funny or like to annoy people) even though there is an empty parking lot.

Considering that the C6 coupes have a hatch roof, he could also save some $$$ and go with a coupe instead of the vert, depending upon how much "hair in the wind" feeling one wants to have

Pulled the trigger -

Ended up picking a 2010 Shelby GT500 Convertible - It has the only 3 options available, Navigation, HID lights and a car cover.

540hp stock with a 36month/36k miles bumper to bumper warranty, 5 year 60k mile powertrain warranty.

Was thinking of flying down to Atlanta to pick it up and drive it home but a 650 mile highway trip isn't the way I intend to break it in. I need to find a reputable car carrier to ship it from Atlanta to Maryland in an enclosed trailer.

Can anyone provide a recommendation for a carrier out of Atlanta?

Thanks in advance.

Fineazz car, Y!
If it wasn't winter, I would think picking it up and spending a day and a half or two,
driving back on secondary roads, would be titz...
Someone here will know of a carrier. Congrats on your new ride!

nice , i love supercharged v8s, the 2010 gt500 is a nice improvement on previous models; although,if you are taller than 6ft the lack of a telescoping steering wheel is annoying....

I don't think you need a local carrier, just call one of the big carriers and see if they have a scheduled pick up in the same area or if they're going through.

Horseless Carriage in Clifton NJ is very good.
