I still have no problem with AT&T. Of course there a few areas where
AT&T has reception problems but so does Verizon. In fact all
cell phone providers have the same kind of problems so everybody's
in the same boat.....
Verizon had a dead spot halfway up my driveway when I lived in Greater Boston. I honestly have never had dropped call issues with AT&T. If you want dropped calls, try 90's Nextel.

It's location specific. I can be standing in Times Square with my VZW Blackberry and a friend with an Iphone and guess which one of us can make a call? "Can you hear me now?"

Now on the north shore of the eastern end of Long Island by my cousin's house, no carrier has a tower, so they all suck equally.

BUT, in a metropolitan area like NYC, Dallas, Boston and L.A., you should be able to make and HOLD calls without problems, and ATT by far has the most complaints with that issue.

AT&T should shut off visual vmail on iPhones if it wants an immediate impact on lessening network traffic. Pushing vmail mp3's to all of those iphones has to be a huge drain on the network.
