There is growing gossip that Wednesday could be the day Apple announces the end of its exclusive distribution arrangement with AT&T for the iPhone.

Maybe it will be a good thing...

If I have an option to buy my iPhone 4G (and associated plan) from another cell provider at a better price than AT&T, then I'll be happy.

I would looove it if they jumped to T-Mobile. I had fantastic service from them for years, and now they have unlimited with blackberry for $80. Thats nuts! I think though that if they switch to Verizon, its back to blackberry for me. I hate VZW.

Great if VZW gets it, I love my VZW Moto Droid and would not switch to iphone because of the Droid turn by turn Google Nav but wifey would get the iphone to replace her itouch were it available through VZW- a good time to short ATT stock if true.

Knew this would happen once I bought my Droid. Maybe the wife will want one. I won't be jumping for now even though I'm about to order 3rd Droid in 2 months due to hardware probs.
