I think 49 of 50 states got snow this year... that has to be a record. Now if Hawaii would get snow too maybe Gore could just shut up.

Hawaii has snow on top of the mountains. Too bad it won't result in Gore shutting up.

The deal was that there was actually snow on the ground in 49 of the 50 states at one time. It hasn't happened many times if any. Hawaii was the only state without snow. None even on the mountain tops on that moment.

And it wouldn't shut Gore up because that is weather, not climate.

Hawaii had snow! The clincher was snow in the Florida panhandle, which happened.

The vast majority of the news articles say 49 of 50 with Hawaii the only holdout. I have seen just a few stating Hawaii had any snow. Either way, pretty crazy.

The sidewalks at UVa have been so bad at times that I'm surprised no one's sued the University despite hundreds of falls. I guess that's one diff between VA and MD.

That's Maryland for ya. Some counties say you have to shovel the sidewalk in front of your home or business within 24 hours of the end of snow. If someone say, slips and breaks their back, you're screwed.

I shovel mine just to be nice for the kids in the community, but the second it becomes a law, I'm gonna be annoyed. People need to take responsibilty for their own stupidity.
