I took a snow day today!

We have an additional 12" so far today. Apparently weren't in the middle of the worst part - between 10am and 2pm - where the Blizzard Warning is in full effect. It's nasty out there!

You're exactly right... getting in wouldn't be a problem compared to trying to get home later on!

I wish it snowed here. Two tests and a research paper between 2 hours ago and friday at 1:30.

We're getting wind. I'm glad my car didn't make it home with me last night because the trees are dangerously close to falling around my parking lot and there are limbs everywhere.

Time for a freaking nyquil.

They just extended the Blizzard Warning until 7pm. Not good.

It's amazing how a few hundred miles (or kilometres ) leads to a complete change in weather. Here in Central VA the sun came out at around 9:00am and although it is blustery, the snow ended early this morning. We got a light accumulation maybe 8cm/3in, enough to be a nuisance and nothing else.

here at casa de wagner we have about 14-18" and 24+ depending on the drift. Still coming down just as hard as ever with 35mph winds.

Yeah...my boyfriend lives near Winchester, VA and it stopped snowing there many hours ago. We're still getting hammered up here northeast of Baltimore. The storm just keeps rotating on top of central Maryland. They upped the predicted snowfall totals for my area to 24"-36" with drifts up to 6 feet. And they just extended the Blizzard Warning again. This time until 10:00 PM. I know we have well over two feet of snow from this storm... which is on top of the almost 30" that fell last Saturday.

The falling snow and winds are really bad right now. I can't see more than 20 feet out my window. Is it ever going to end?!

Turnabout is fair play.
