I think this will be the snowiest winter to date... I just hope all the melting snow water going down the Mississippi river isn't more than levees and spillway can handle, we sure don't need another flood down here!
(come to think of it, in light of that comment could you all please refrain from peeing in the snow. I don't care if you can spell your name!)

You guys think you have it bad...it's only like 50* here!
 I'd love it if it'd either just snow like mad, or get back up to 90*...it snowed the day before yesterday, and now the sun is just teasing me today.

Very weird winter, and record breaking here in FL...even the old timers/natives
can't recall a period this long and this cold. I realize I can't elicit much sympathy from those north of Zone 10, but 50 and windy for a daytime high, for the past 2 months, is not my idea of fun. The black ice this evening from the sudden drop in temperatures was a bit unexpected. With some of the snow melt remaining, I still didn't expect it'd occur so early in the evening. DSC to the rescue, even in the car park!
It's a hair below 0°C outside now with the wind still coming.
