Durango's has 3 row seating, and those are by no means full size, nor is that backseat in either vehicle really even usable.

True full size SUV's like the Escalade, Tahoe/Suburban, Expedition, Excursion, Commander, etc probably don't for as much and/or have to give rebates because they come standard w/ a V8 at minimum because of their sheer size and weight. There might be a few "fullsize" that come w/ a 6, but that little engine is struggling and is probably a stripped down fleet type truck.
Post #15. He's considering the Tahoe. And the Tahoe gets better mileage than an X5 (15/21).

He just likes the name cause it's wity for where he's going to use it, but based on the pricing, it's already off the list.

Dimensionally, the 2010 GLK is smaller than his 03 X5, hence why I'm not referring to a full size SUV like the Tahoe as a possibility anymore, and it sounds like he isn't either. BMW X5 Compare - Exterior Features - MSN Autos

He literally says it's off the list because of price, which, as I said, is currently being discounted $4k so he should re-check pricing. Somehow you're reading his mind and saying it's due to some other factor. You obviously have inside info so I'll just leave the 2 of you to decide

Based on what I've read in his replies, I said it sounds like, I never said I knew for sure. I think this GLK's are pretty cool looking, especially those hard edged lines.

E61Silver is an unknown quantity at this point
I would get a 2011 BMW X3 it will be almost the same size as the original X5 and should almost meet your price budget.

Not if he wants any options. The current X3 pretty much starts at $40k.

A base model 2011 X3 is better than anything else.

I don't know if it qualifies for overseas pick-up but that may also reduce the cost.

European Delivery is not possible on vehicles manufactured in South Carolina.

I am sure you could get a Chevy dealer to give you a 4x4 Tahoe with maybe Navigation and a couple other options for under $40k.

They have a base Tahoe and Avalanche (20" wheels) both 4x4 on Ebay for about $40k..
