We knew it was a joke, Ricky. And you're right, I would NEVER recommend a Mac to a gamer. As a general rule, Macs get the games later than the Wintels (if at all, in some cases), and even then, they are "ported," not coded specifically for the Mac.

(Having said that, my oldest son -- who IS a gamer and a college student -- does not complain much about his PB. He is really into World of Warcraft lately, and he plays it on his three-year old Mac with no problems. He gave me some resistance about the Mac when I gave it to him, but he is now VERY happy with it, and all his class mates envy his PB. )

Like many Mac addicts ( and you will be one soon, guaranteed), you will be enticed by the Apple environment, without any effort at all, to buy more stuff - iPods (I got all kinds!), iSight, Monitors, super cool software, even additional iBook or Powerbook (the latest, of course) so you can "donate" your current one to the CEO

Looking back, my Powerbook was the least of my purchases. Someone told me in one of our Apple Users' Group monthly meetings that the "Mac" side is a lifestyle. Enjoy!
