Thanks for all the comments and opins, (I think ) but I am really fooking !

To make things more difficult, every time I go on Dell's site, with "coupon" in hand, or ECode or CheapSite info, et al, it is a very dissimilar combo that they or the "deal" is pushing. So, by the time I load up the stuff I want, it comes out about the same. (The only real savings is a tip that Rob_ gave me, but my fooking lips are sealed.)

I thought about a lap top, or a entry to medium level machine, but my new one here on the Mtn is pretty well powered, (though discontinued and replaced by another by Dell in the span of 3 months, WTF!?), so I do do a tad more than web surfing, and email: a lot of Excell spread sheets, financial stuff, records, etc. and my growing digi pic collection and filing. And, a lot of saved stuff in my David'sDeweyDecimalSystem docs.

So, I am not under the gun budget-wise and am chasing the more bells & whistles unit, at this point:

I gotta pull the trigger soon, so the sumbitch gets "there" about the same time I do, as I can barely tolerate being off this Board and the Web, , for long.
Cheers Maties and thanks for the opins...
