No . . . 20 laps up. BMW has been in pits for mechanical issues and just got back out on the track.

The race was ugly. The Corvette ZR1's crashed into each other during a pitstop and went 8 laps down. And it was in the 3rd hour. Very disappointing. At least the Porsches didn't win. It was ferrari, bmw, bmw.

Here in Oz a 335i just recently won the Bathurst 12-Hour. It was so stock that they drove it to the circuit and back from Sydney (500km return trip)!. It beat a whole bunch of WRC homologation cars (Mitsubishi Lancers Evos and Subaru Impreza WRXs) that competed in a theoretically faster class despite the fact that most of the race was run in semi-wet and wet conditions. In the mix was also a Chev V8 engined Holden (5.7 or 6.0-litre?) wagon that did really well. The interesting thing was that the 4WD Mitsus and Subarus were way faster in the marginally wet conditions but when it was fully wet the RWD BMW and Holden came into their own.
