I assume that his father's first mod will be a condom dispenser in the glove compartment

As far as the BS goes, who gets there child a car at 14. At the very least at 15.5 or for the most part 16. And like one of the YouTube comments said, when the guy is recording the Camaro at best buy, who is recording him. He had to have known he was being recorded..
My guess is it's the dads car. Maybe he "said" when the kid turns 16 he will give it to him.

Looks like the parking lot footage was recorded from inside a car across the parking lot. I bet they got the audio from the hidden camera in the Mom's purse or from the video camera the kid was holding himself.

Also, my good friend got a brand new Mustang Cobra for his 15th birthday back in 1994.

But I think the idea here was that the girls
liked the guys who demonstrated some mechanical
and creative ability as well.

And of course the guys got the bragging right's.
Look what I did girls. "Aint I bad"......

You think this kid is gonna change a flat tire...

I have friends (or their siblings) who have/had nicer cars at the ages of 10-15 than most other people do.
That wasn't the point of my post tho..

You said, "As far as the BS goes, who gets there child a car at 14. At the very least at 15.5 or for the most part 16". I was just pointing out that people do buy cars for their kids before the age of 15.5 or 16. This video was a 15th birthday, so it really isn't that crazy or unusual.

I explained how the video footage in the parking lot was shot, which was the other half of your "b.s." arguement.

So, what point of yours did I miss?

Yeah, that makes sense.

I don't know what I am saying. I think I need to take a break from studying (and the occasional Xoutpost break) and get some rest.

LOL what a tool. He should have asked for an m3. His mom's car looks really nice though. I do not see the point in making it some big fiasco with a video camera and all. Buying over the top gifts is fine by me, If you have the means...you only live once.

Nowadays...at least when I was in hs....(2001-2005)...kids still take pride in customizing their cars. And there were kids in programs at school that painted and modded their own cars. They were mostly Japanese imports tho...and they were really cheesy. I had a chevy equinox with 22s, tints, tvs, and a system that blew the doors off lol Looking back on it I probably looked like a tool myself Lucky for me my mother bought a 2003 330ci that I stole every chance I got...and the rest is history
