Very interesting video indeed MD. I really wonder how we made it to these days.

Considering the average highway speed in the 50's,
how many freeways there were, and driving attitudes
trying to look cool, Sunday driving speeds and so forth,
nobody was in a hurry clipping 80+MPH.

Not that people didn't have accidents and get themselves
and their cars banged up or even killed but the way people
drove was a lot different than the way they drive today.

I believe we were a bit more cognizant of the fact that if
you hit someone with one of those tanks the results was
not going to provide a good result.
