WOW! Pretty good.

If you are speaking ethnicity, Taiwanese people and Chinese people are both Han Chinese genetically.

Obviously nationality wise: no Chinese is not the same as Taiwanese. Often this topic can stirs some controversial debate in China and The Republic of China.
