The spray doesn't work with todays technologies, might worked in the old days but no more. Just takes the police a few more minutes in figuring out your number plates thats all.

I saw it on TV the other day, the cops simply used some photoshop technique down graded the brightness, and numbers appear as normal.

No. There are many products that are legal to sell but illegal to use. Also, there are plenty of products that are legal to sell but are used illegally. With the type of thing you are talking about, the only person who will be held responsible would be the end user.

but of course, photoradar has been ruled as unconstitutional and illegal in the court of law in SF and therefore is not illegal. Case closed.

No doubt in some States, it is illegal to used these products, but it is perfectly legal for a retailer to sell them, and also collect sales tax on the product. Go Figure.....

And therefore there is no need for obscuring license plate covers, or looking for other ways to beat a system this is illegal.
