Back in pre-2001, when I was still carrying the bag, that idea sounds like
what our Euro operations had, except they had 6+ weeks of vacay and, another dozen+ days "off" for all the other stuff...  They got paid like they were working 80 hr weeks, however.

I use to love those 32 hour work weeks.
especially when I got paid for forty.......
