LeBron James walked off the floor to a smattering of boos

How does this happen to the MVP?

His team down by 27 points and a promising season suddenly in peril, LeBron James walked off the floor to a smattering of boos and rows of empty seats.
If this was goodbye Cleveland, it wasn’t the send-off he imagined. I missed this game but I expected better......

QwkAg,
Thanks...

As for Lebron, it is pro sports which connotes a 10 min attention span and
maybe a hour's worth of loyalty these days. And, the fans were probably
pizzed to see him go. And, it's Cleveland.

Most fans haven't the slightest clue what some of these athletes endure. First of all, without Lebron, what is Cleveland, even with Shaq? Sub par team at best. They can't expect the guy to be superman every night, even in the playoffs...especially when he's playing with an injury to his moneymaker, the ELBOW connected to his SHOOTING HAND!

Relax, he's not performing open heart surgery.

Right...he only has the pressure of fulfilling his $16m annual salary, $90m shoe deal, that elusive first ring...oh and let's not forget the fans.

I agree with you mostly..But the elbow thing doesn't fly..You seen Kobe lately, I think he has an injury on every part of his body..He's still putting up numbers, still closing out games the way an MVP should. and Still dominating, and he certainly isn't walking off the floor while down 27pts.

True...but the elbow thing doesn't fly as in, you don't believe him or it shouldn't affect his game?

Kobe and Lebron are both playing with sorted ailments (as just about any pro athlete)...in Kobe's case his most bothersome current ailment, i believe is the index finger on his shooting hand, any shooter can adjust their shot if there's an injury to their shooting hand/finger. Now an elbow injury, if ligament related, no shooter can adjust their shot unless they're comfortably ambidextrous.

Rootin' for 'Bron though...more interested in seeing Lakers vs Cavs finals. The puppet ads would be insane

MANNNNNNN. The entire nba playoffs have let me down. I have been looking forward to these games all damn year and have only seen a handful of good games. I have been praying for a finals between Lebron and Kobe and I'm not even remotely religious Kobe is a warrior. Lebron will find a way to win in Beantown. Either way Orlando will be playing LA in the finals.

Don't you all remember what happened last year when Orlando won? LeBron would not even shake the Os hands. And now he hear b'ooooos and he can't take it...hmmmm. Do you think that NY will give him a pass when he jump ship? NYC will eat him alive...

Playing hurt - have you seen Nash playing with one eye closed up? Now that's an MVP player and Kobe is always playing hurt. They should give MVPs after the playoff...LeBron an MVP...NO freakin' WAY!
